Why should I buy from you when I can go to a national

When you commission a piece through me, you get a
say in the total design. I can customize the piece to any
size, specification or finish. You will also know the
progress I make while I build the piece as I work closely
with my clients. You are hiring me as a professional
furniture builder and I will make every effort possible for
you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.

What kind of warranty do you offer?
I offer a limited five year warranty on all my pieces. If the
piece fails at the glue joints I will fix it for free. However,
please understand that when work is placed in high
stress conditions such as direct sunlight, near a
heating or air conditioning duct or in high moisture
content environments the odds are increased that the
piece can warp and/or crack due to this expansion and
contraction. So be kind to your wood.

Depending on the amount of work on my schedule it may
take anywhere from one - three months. I will let you
know how long it will take before your order is placed.

Do you offer discounts if I buy more than one piece?
Yes, depending on what you're interested in ordering, I
will take a percentage discount off the total order.

How much would it cost to have my piece shipped?
Depending on where the piece will be shipped I will
quote you a price through a reliable trucking firm. A piece
will be crated if it needs to be shipped. Blanket wrapped
delivery is available but runs considerably more than
shipping in a crate via common carrier. Blanket wrapped
service will also delay delivery about three to four weeks.
Most crates cost between $300.00 to $1000.00
depending on the size. I will however deliver the piece at
no charge within a 50 mile radius of Milford, Ohio.

Final payment is due right before delivery of the piece is
made. Payment can be made by personal check or by a

Do you require a deposit for commissioned work?
Yes, I require a 10% nonrefundable deposit for
commissioned work before I can put you on my schedule.

Can you match the finish on furniture I already own?
Chances are yes but I can't guarantee it. What I will do is
make a sample board and try to replicate the finish you
want before I start making the piece. However the
sample and the finish piece can look drastically different
due to the lighting conditions depending upon when and
where viewed. A stain under incandescent light will look
quite different when viewed in the same location under
natural daylight. Please understand that if you want a
piece to be stained, you have to be flexible about the final
color, hue and saturation. Once we agree on the final
stained finish I will start on your piece. If for whatever
reason I can not replicate the finish you want on the
sample board before I begin to build the piece, there will
be no cost to you.
